DJ Light, also known as Amit Seth, is our man in India. Splitting his time between New Delhi and Dubai, he was raised in a family deeply passionate about music.
Growing up, he was naturally influenced by a wide range of electronic and industrial artists such as Front 242, Yello, The The, Kraftwerk, Nitzer Ebb, and many others. Goa-long known as a meeting point for those creating, sharing, and experiencing electronic music-played a key role in shaping his musical direction from an early age.
He discovered trance in the mid-80s, a turning point that led him on a deeper personal and musical journey. Over the years, he traveled extensively, exploring both the world and his inner self-meeting people, connecting with spiritual teachers, and immersing himself in the study of cosmic and spiritual forces. These experiences became an integral part of his identity and artistic expression.
This depth is reflected in his DJ sets, which are known for their intensity and duration, often lasting 10 to 15 hours. Through them, he channels a fusion of natural and spiritual energies, creating immersive journeys on the dancefloor.
DJ Light is also part of the Shiv Shant Foundation, where he organizes events and performs alongside many of today's leading artists.
His performances have taken him across the globe, including Goa, Manali, Dharamsala, Vashisht, Hampi, Delhi, Bangalore, London, Greece, Germany, Austria, Australia, South Africa, and beyond.
